Important! Do this before you share your link
When you are sharing an Ambassador link on social media, in a blog post, or in an email, it’s important to always disclose that you will be making money from the link you share. We’ve listed different ways to disclose for each platform below. Just make sure the Ambassador statement comes before you mention the product and you will be good to go!
Example of Ambassador disclosure statement:
“This post contains Ambassador links. If you make a purchase using this link we earn a commission at no additional cost to you. We only recommend products and services we love and think you will too. Thank you for supporting this blog/page/business.”
How to disclose Ambassador links on:
Your blog: If you have a blog, create a separate page with your disclosure statement on it. Then you can link to that page in a simple disclosure statement within the posts where you share Ambassador links.
On Instagram: While you can’t add Ambassador links to individual Instagram posts, you can add them in your Stories, IGTV descriptions, or bio. In individual social media posts, you can write a simple disclosure statement at or near the beginning of your post. You can also place #ad in your post with your other hashtags.
On Facebook: You can share Ambassador links on your personal or business Facebook page(s) as long as you disclose that the link you are sharing is an Ambassador link. You can use #ad near your Ambassador link, and you also need to put in a disclosure statement, such as “This post contains Ambassador links and I receive a commission if you visit a link and buy something on my recommendation.”
On Pinterest: The easiest way to disclose Ambassador links on Pinterest is to add #ad in your pin description.

When you are sharing an Ambassador link on social media, blog posts, or in an email the best way to do this is to share from the perspective of something that has helped you and you want to offer your readers/followers a way to use it too because you think it will also solve a problem for them. Use language that you would if you were offering a friend a solution rather then if you were trying to sell someone something. Here is a basic outline of how you can structure and word your posts when sharing Ambassador links:
- Talk about a problem you had that would resonate with your audience
- Discuss the solution you found
- Describe the ways the solution helped you in your business
Ideas for sharing in social media Reels and Stories
Stories and Reels are great places to share your Ambassador link. You can share your link directly in your stories or you can use a poll or sticker and ask people to “learn more” and then share with them through messaging. Here are some ideas to get you started with Reels and Stories:

Round-up and best use keywords to help drive traffic (and potential sales!) to your Ambassador blog
When you share your Ambassador link, you will always increase your traffic if you optimize your post with some basic SEO strategies. Using a few choice keywords will not only boost your traffic but it will help you attract people who are in your target audience and will be more likely to be interested in what you are sharing. When you are looking for keywords think about what photographers might search for when they are looking for tools to help them run their businesses. You can also take note of some common keywords that might pop up often in facebook groups you are sharing in. If people are searching for these keywords on Facebook, they are most likely googling them as well. Put these keywords in your post’s content, titles, and subtitles. Here are a few examples:
